Finding Brighton’s Gay Beach – The Globetrotter Guys

Finding Brighton's Gay Beach - The Globetrotter Guys

Brighton is one of the most popular LGBTQ+ beach destinations in the UK with its open and welcoming atmosphere, plenty of bars, clubs and exciting activities to do – it also holds one of the biggest and best Pride celebrations in the UK.

How to Find Brighton’s Gay Beach

With all that going on, it is fair to ask ‘is there a gay beach in Brighton?‘… Yes, like many popular queer destinations, there is an unofficial gay beach in Brighton.

We say ‘unofficial’ as technically this is the official naturist beach and it therefore comes as no surprise that has become Brighton’s gay beach. When we visited it was a quiet day but it was still clear to us that this place attracted other gay travellers.

Visiting Door County for Gay Families – 2TravelDads

Visiting Door County for Gay Families - 2TravelDads

Things to Do in Door County for Gay Families

So what exactly is there to do in Door County for gay families? So much! We’ve broken down our top picks for activities by theme / style. We’ve got foodie ideas, the arts, getting on the water and exploring nature. Even though it can be a chilly place to be in the winter, the rest of the year Door County is awesome, albeit a little wild for weather in spring and fall.

My heart breaks for those who cannot eat cheese, especially if they’re in Wisconsin. Eating cheese is one of the best things to do in Door County. Whether you’re ordering fried cheese curds in a restaurant or bar, or you’re doing a guided cheese tasting (yes, like a wine tasting) you’re going to love it. PS: it’s also okay just to buy a block of Wisconsin cheese and sit alone in your car eating it… I may have done that on more than one occasion.

We’ll start with Renard’s Artisan Cheese because it is my favorite cheese shop of all that I’ve been to in Door County. Located in Sturgeon Bay, Renard’s Artisan Cheese has everything you could want, from cheese curds of all sorts to cheese spreads. What I really love about it here though is the guided cheese tasting. Knowledgeable staff explain the different cheeses and are quite generous with the samples.

Visiting Lesbian Lapland in the Winter

Planning a magical trip to Lapland in Winter? This guide details all of the best lesbian Lapland Winter activities, and includes where to eat, how to plan, and all of our top tips for visiting.

Winter in Lapland is the most magical time of the year to visit. It’s the Christmassy destination we all dream about as little kids. And regardless of your age, it holds the magic to make you feel like a kid once again.

Quite honestly, I’m not usually a fan of winter getaways, but Lapland was an exception. It’s impossible not to get lost in the enchantment of it all, and Lapland is by far one of our favourite destinations to date.

Imagine days discovering glorious winter landscapes and fascinating local culture. Followed by cosy evenings by the fire or in a glass igloo beneath the Northern Lights.

You see, Lapland is both romantic and adventurous in equal measure, so it’s guaranteed fun for all the family.
