Go Bavarian in Gay Leavenworth, Washington – 2TravelDads

Go Bavarian in Gay Leavenworth, Washington - 2TravelDads

Even though Leavenworth may not be a legit Bavarian settlement, the German culture paired with the Swiss and a few Scandinavian influences and everything else alpine make it a wonderful getaway to feel like you’re in another world. These are the best Bavarian activities in Leavenworth to get into the spirit of Oktoberfest year-round and to have a great trip to Washington’s favorite small town.

If you’re not too interested in the Bavarian/German fun that’s available, there are plenty of other great things to do in gay Leavenworth to enjoy on your getaway to Eastern Washington. Whether it’s summer or winter, you’ll have a great trip!

Gay Leavenworth, The Bavarian Hub of the PNW

I love telling the story of Leavenworth, Washington because it’s remarkable, and it’s not just “Oktoberfest needed a home in the Pacific Northwest.” It’s much more interesting and unusual than that. A logging boom town in Eastern Washington, Leavenworth started to fail and its economy crumbled as the timber industry changed and moved away from the area. Not wanting Leavenworth to turn into another ghost town like so many others in Washington had, the town pooled their resources and hired a marketing firm to help them out.

3 Days in the Lesbian Lake District - Our Taste for Life

The Best Lesbian Lake District Itinerary
– 3 Days of Adventure!

3 days in the lesbian Lake District might not seem like a lot of time. But if you plan that time wisely, you can still achieve a lot during your trip. In this guide, I share our own tried & tested Lake District itinerary, including things to do, where to eat, and the best places to stay!

Our recent trip to the Lake District was our first time visiting. It was somewhere that had always been on our radar, but we’d never made it a priority. To be honest, we didn’t realise quite how magnificent it is.

The lakes have everything that we love about a place. Idyllic lakes, quaint countryside villages, and adventurous hikes up into the mountains.

This 3 day Lake District itinerary combines a bit of all those things. It’s ideal for couples, solo travellers, first-time visitors, and anybody else who wants to spend a long weekend in the Lake District.

Nomadic Boys: Finding Mongolia’s Only Gay Bar

Hanzo - Mongolia's only gay bar - Nomadic Boys

For as long as I’ve known my crazy Stefan he’s always been harping on about Mongolia.

He spends hours reading historical fiction about the Genghis Khan dynasty or watching documentaries about Kublai Khan. Although it was the Netflix Marco Polo series (starring the very handsome Italian actor Lorenzo Richelmy) that created Stefan’s ultimate wanderlust for the land of the Mongols and therefore inspired our Mongolia trip.

We visited Mongolia during our big Asia trip in July when the famous Naadam Festival was taking place. This is the Mongolian Olympics, but instead of taking place every 4 years, it happens in July. It’s the country’s biggest event with a dramatic, colorful opening ceremony before the focus turns to the three traditional games featured in the competition: horse riding, wrestling, and archery.

Hanzo – Mongolia’s Only Gay Bar

We must have spent around 25 minutes walking up and down those ugly Soviet blocks looking for Hanzo, Mongolia’s only gay bar. There was no signage, nothing recognizable anywhere to help us locate it.

Visiting Utah’s National Parks – Dolly Travels

Visiting Utah’s National Parks

Days are flying by as we’re visiting Utah’s National Parks, and each day is packed with visions of beauty, rugged country, incredible rock formations. I am running out of adjectives to describe this marvelous southern Utah country.

On Sunday, we visited Bryce Canyon, which has been my favorite National Park so far, due to the colorful, magnificent rock structures. As you can see, by the dark clouds above the canyon, soon it began to rain. It rained hard for about 15 minutes, let up enough that we could take a walk on a short trail, then when it started to rain again, we drove to a different point.

We left the park not long after I took this picture, due to the rain. If I ever get a chance, i will visit this park again. The next day, we headed toward Capitol Reef National Park. Along the way, we traveled through an area with another slot canyon, not as long as the one we visited a few days previously, but impressive, nonetheless.

If you’re planning the ultimate weekend in lesbian Asheville, you’re in the right place! In this guide, guest blogger Polly Clover shares a perfect 3 Day Asheville weekend itinerary filled with outdoor adventure, cultural experiences, and delicious food.

Along with Charleston, SC, Asheville is one of my favourite places to spend a long weekend. I love its laid-back vibe, welcoming locals, and fun activities.

There are so many different things to see and do packed into a somewhat small city, which makes it an ideal destination for all kinds of travellers.

In fact, I’ve gone to Asheville alone as well as with family, friends, and my partner. All experiences were unique and memorable!

This beautiful western North Carolina mountain city is most known for the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Biltmore Estate. It’s also home to some of the best craft beer, a vibrant art scene, and friendly people.

Whether you’re planning a relaxing vacation, a romantic getaway, an exciting adventure, or a North Carolina road trip, Asheville is the perfect place to go.

Visiting Lesbian Helsinki in the Winter
The Ultimate Travel Guide

If you’re planning a memorable trip to lesbian Helsinki in winter, you’re in the right place. In this guide, I’ll share all the best things to do in Helsinki in winter, plus all of my top tips for visiting during this time.

Overlooking the Baltic Sea, Helsinki is one of the most underrated cities in Europe. Bursting with abstract architecture and innovative art, it’s also one of the most futuristic and unique.

While Finland’s capital is an exciting city all year round, winter in Helsinki is a magical time. It’s cold, of course, but so long as you are prepared, it can be one of the best times to visit.

Crowds are fewer, prices are lower, and the Helsinki winter scenery is a dream. Not to mention all the exciting winter activities in Helsinki that make this one of the best winter city breaks in Europe.

Two Weeks in Lesbian Malaysia – Our Taste for Life

Two Weeks in Lesbian Malaysia - Our Taste for Life

2 Weeks in Lesbian Malaysia – The Best Malaysia Itinerary

2 weeks in lesbian Malaysia is a good amount of time to appreciate all this beautiful country has to offer. In this guide, I’ll be sharing a recommended two-week Malaysia Itinerary, including the best places to visit, where to eat, sleep, & party, as well as all of our top tips for visiting.

When it comes to the best South East Asia travel destinations, Malaysia is a country that rarely makes the hotlist. Sure, it might not be as wild as Thailand or as trendy as Bali, but after spending quite some time backpacking in Malaysia, I can confidently say that it is fiercely underrated.

The thing we love most about Malaysia is its diversity. It is a cultural melting pot, and the multi-ethnic influence of Malay, Indian, Chinese and European concocts a culture (and cuisine) unlike no other in the region. There’s also an abundance of things to see and do. From pulsating urban cities and charming heritage towns to sweeping rainforests and pristine islands, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Visiting Lesbian Ljubljana in the Winter

If you’re planning a memorable trip to lesbian Ljubljana in winter, you’re in the right place. In this guide, I’ll share all the best things to do in this beautiful town in winter, plus all of my top tips for visiting during this magical time.

Ljubljana, Slovenia’s tiny capital, is one of the most underrated cities in Europe. With its whimsical architecture and charming cobbled streets, it feels like something straight out of a fairy tale.

While the city is dreamy and captivating all year round, there’s nothing quite like winter in Ljubljana. It’s at this time of year that the magic really happens.

Snow adorns the ground, rivers ice over, and traditional Christmas markets pop up around the city. It’s simply beautiful and undoubtedly one of my favourite European winter destinations.
