The Treghan Luxury Lodge sits on a little more than two acres of beautiful private landscaped gardens. Located in northern New Zealand’s Bay of Islands, our Kerikeri gay friendly B&B is a special place to get away from it all. Awaken in your own personal guesthouse, knowing your self contained private space is yours and yours alone. We believe this self contained privacy to be very important in these times.

We’ve carefully considered every last detail, from the oh-so-comfortable bed linens and feather pillows to our famous, fresh-baked organic cookies. Each guesthouse includes a/c and free Wifi internet access for your comfort.

We’re also just eight miles away from Lewes and twelve miles from Rehoboth Beach and its famous boardwalk.

For many years, Rehoboth Beach has been known for being LGBTQ+ friendly. It has gay owned bars, businesses and fabulous restaurants, and even LGBTQ+ beaches.

Our gay owned bed and breakfast was put on the Historic Registry in 2013 and was originally built in 1810. We have fully renovated the entire house and property to make it welcoming and comfortable for all of our guests.

We have three rooms in the main house and two one bedroom apartmentw in the renovated barn that are dog friendly, so feel free to bring your pet.

Our 11 acre property is off the beaten path yet close enough to Historic Downtown Placerville to shop and eat. Our driveway is gated for privacy and security (guests will receive the gate code 3 days before arrival). Our outdoor enclosed hot tub room is kept immaculately clean and open all year.

Rover’s Room, our only pet-friendly room, is the most private and largest of our rooms. The Western and Garden rooms are the closest to the outdoor hot tub room. The Game room has: darts, billiards, card table and board games for all to enjoy. Breakfast is ‘family style’, one large dinning table.

We have renovated and converted from the 1890’s Eastlake style shotgun double to the b&b. Almost everything in the house is original, including the 8 (not working, formerly coal-burning) fireplaces, the hardwood floors, the 12 foot ceilings (a few of which have original plaster medallions and crown moulding), the louvered shutters, as well as the doors (including two sets of pocket doors) and windows.
