PRIVATE, SWEET COTTAGE IN BOULDER
Welcome to the Nest B&B in Boulder, Colorado, in the beautiful Front Range of Colorado. Our cottage, The Nest, is a private separate dwelling behind our house, with its own guest access.
The Nest is a converted garage - in an earlier life, it was a pottery studio and a retreat space. Our Boulder vacation rental has pine floors, an attached bathroom with tiled shower and a new dual heating and air conditioning unit. There's also a small patio, yours to use and take in the fresh mountain air. There's an umbrella festooned with lights and chairs too, making it perfect for eating outdoors, or for enjoying your morning coffee or take-out.
The cottage comes with a television with Netflix, and also includes free Wi-Fi access in your room.
We're a smoke free property, and we also use fragrance-free and plant-based cleaning products.
The kitchen comes with microwave and small refrigerator. We also provide organic tea and coffee, along with sweeteners and creams.
Looking for a great place to eat? You'll find restaurants just three blocks from your front door. Pearl Street Mall is just a mile from here, where renowned farm to fork restaurants are available in abundance.
There are also grocery stores, pharmacies, laundromats, banks, a post office, bus routes, North Boulder Park and bike rentals close at hand.
Boulder is a beautiful town, with a symphony and one of the remaining Chautauquas in the county. There are concerts, dining and amazing hikes in the Historic Chautauqua area.
We are close to from several open spaces near Mt Sanitas, where you can enjoy rock climbing, hiking, biking trails.
More science-minded travelers will enjoy the University of Colorado and a planetarium. And since Boulder is a very scientific community, there are interesting weather displays at the National Center for Atmospheric Research.
Just an hour away from Boulder, check out the Rocky Mt National Park, Indian Peaks Wilderness Area and El Dora Ski Resort, perfect for daytrips from The Nest B&B. And Denver, with its art museums and its public gardens, is also just an hour away.
If you prefer to just hang out and relax, or take a personal working / writing retreat, it's very quiet here, and the gardens offer a special respite.
Parking is available on the street in front of our house, in our neighborhood. To reach the cottage, you walk up our driveway and through a back door that leads to a beautiful array of plant life. Take a short walk through the gardens and go up a few stairs, and you're here!
We've both been involved in women spaces off and on all of our adult lives. We care about the quality of your time here and the joys of your stay. If you need some advice on what to see and do in Boulder, we are happy to offer suggestions and guidance. Hope to see you soon!
We embrace diversity in all of its many forms.
