Pisgah National Forest Gay Friendly B&B

On 7+ private wooded acres in Pisgah National Forest between the towns of Old Fort and Black Mountain, NC, and 25 minutes east of Asheville, the Inn on Mill Creek is a licensed five-room Bed & Breakfast where guests come to relax and connect with nature.

At our Pisgah National Forest gay friendly B&B, guests can get some “nature therapy” by enjoying different garden spaces, outdoor sculptures, a boardwalk through a half-acre wetland area, a deck adjacent to the small pond on the property, and a walking labyrinth. Across the road is the Inn’s half-century-old apple orchard currently undergoing rehabilitation. The Inn is also one of a handful of private properties on the North Carolina Birding Trail’s Mountains Region. Our neighbors have names like Chickadee, Tufted Titmouse, Pileated Woodpecker and Swainson's Warbler, and our night is lit by stars, not neon. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating allows for admiring nature in four distinct seasons.

The Inn’s five large guest rooms are decorated and named with inspiration from Pisgah National Forest surrounding the Inn. Each have their own private bath.

The Evergreen Room on the second floor of the Main House is our largest room at 600 square feet and features a king bed, screened-in sitting porch, gas fireplace, large bathroom with spa jetted tub and walk-in shower. Views of the main garden and the southern end of the property from a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows make this room ideal for nature lovers.

The Oak Leaf Room is one of our most popular rooms and has a king bed, large sectional sofa, and contemporary in-wall gas fireplace, as well as a huge bathroom with a large jetted tub and walk-in tile shower plus bonus heated floor tile. This first floor Main House room also has its own patio/parking area and entrance from the outside. The Oak Leaf Room pet friendly - please see our website for our pet policies.

The Carolina Room on the second floor of the Main House is a king bed room that can be split into two twin beds to accommodate friends traveling together. It is a spacious 500-square-foot room with forest views and its bathroom has a single Jacuzzi tub and tiled shower.

The Mountain Laurel Room and the Maple Tree Room are two guest rooms in the Deck House at the Inn on Mill Creek, which can be reserved as a single booking or as separate room reservations. The Mountain Laurel Room has a king bed while the Maple Tree Room has a queen. Both rooms have gas fireplaces and private bathrooms with double Jacuzzi tubs and tiled showers. The Deck House also includes a petite but fully-equipped kitchen for Deck House guests, as well as a sitting room/lounge space with a full-size sleeper sofa and separate bathroom for group bookings. The Deck House rooms have glass sliding doors onto a deck with seating that overlooks the small pond on the property.

Included in your stay at our Pisgah National Forest gay friendly B&B is a full breakfast every morning, made from scratch and tailored to individual dietary preferences. Enjoy the first meal of the day in the dining solarium overlooking a large butterfly-friendly and bird-friendly perennial garden.

We help guests take their vacation at their own pace, offering assistance with trip planning, restaurant recommendations, hiking and mountain biking trail info, birding opportunities and more, or simply providing a peaceful place for those who are escaping their busy lives and want to spend quiet time with a loved one.
