The main level of the home is tastefully designed with Brazilian Koa floors throughout. In the main living area, the beautiful stone masonry heater adds warmth and coziness during the winter months. Next to the heater are chairs and a table where women can gather to enjoy their morning coffee or evening wine while overlooking the property and surrounding natural landscape.
A highlight of staying at Downton Valley is enjoying full access to the beautifully maintained property, which is full of amenities that encourage guests to spend as much time in the outdoors as possible.
A central feature on the property is the outdoor heated saltwater pool, where you can enjoy the soothing feeling of swimming through warm saltwater while surrounded by the beautiful landscape and forest. The pool is open seasonally from mid-April to mid-October.
The deluxe outdoor Jacuzzi on the property is open year-round. Relax and unwind while the jets massage you. This is the ideal place to take in the stunning Massachusetts foliage or the serene winter snowfalls.
Next to the pool is a patio area with sun chairs and umbrellas where you can take a break from swimming. Also by the pool is a comfortably furnished, screened-in gazebo where you can relax, socialize and escape the sun.
At the front of the property, a spacious porch with lounge seating provides the perfect location to look out at the mountains. The porch leads down to the front lawn, where a fire pit provides the opportunity to enjoy a toasty campfire as you survey the panoramic view.
The property grounds are well-maintained and complete with gardens and natural stone details. From the backyard is direct access to women-made trails for hiking and snowshoeing.
