Merida Gay Owned Men's Boutique Hotel

El Pueblo comprises seven suites in two large houses which are joined together by spacious verandas into a single building.

All rooms are more than 400 square feet in area, and each comes fully furnished with an en suite bathroom, king-size bed, ample closet, personal safe, desk, free wi-fi Internet, air conditioner, fans, and a covered outdoor seating area.

Common areas include a 25-meter natural (un-chlorinated) swimming pool and pool deck; a library; a lounge; a roof deck with hammocks and a gas grill; a large, all-native tropical garden; an atrium for movie nights; a main dining hall for scheduled meals; and a smaller kitchen for snacks and informal get-togethers.

Our wonderful, attentive chef serves breakfast with vegetarian and vegan options every day except Sunday, and also prepares drinks and snacks for self-service in the smaller Casa Sur kitchen.

Yoga and Spanish-language classes will be scheduled several times a week, and in-room massages with approved masseurs can be scheduled individually.

El Pueblo is situated in the very heart of Mérida’s Histórico Centro district at the foot of vibrant Paseo de Montejo, and one block south of the “Corridor Gastronómico” which links the Plaza Grande via Calle 47 to the grand new Parque La Plancha. A room at El Pueblo is within an easy walk of literally hundreds of restaurants, bars, clubs, art galleries, museums, and performance venues.

We strive to create a fun, caring, creative atmosphere of fraternity and mutual support at El Pueblo for all who visit here.
