The Nomadic Boys

Our friends Stef and Seb, the Nomadic Boys, just did a great interview with Gay Star News:

Do you ever hope to get married, and if so, would you consider a destination wedding?

Sebastien: Absolutely and it’s definitely on the cards!

Where would you go on your honeymoon?

Stefan: This is the source of many arguments – my dream is of a honeymoon cruise to Antarctica.

Sebastien: Whereas my ideal honeymoon is a road trip across the USA.

Where’s been your best trip and why?

Stefan: Our best trip to date was to the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador, a place we’ve been dying to visit for ages. It was amazing to get so close to nature, especially the playful sea lions and giant tortoises.

Where’s been your worst trip and why?

Sebastien: We visited Uruguay in September but for only a week and ended up rushing around a lot, not taking it in as much as we would want. We plan to revisit and spend more time there as it has so much to offer and is also one of the most gay friendly countries in Latin America.

Nomadic Boys – That Time We Were Interviewed on Malaysian National Radio

Nomadic Boys

Kuala Lumpur was a great base for us to stop and take a breather from our backpacks for a month in June/July 2015.

Whilst in KL, we met the awesome DJ Kevin Chong, who invited us to be interviewed about our travels in Asia over the past year, on his morning show with his partner in crime, DJ Diyana.

TraXX FM is one of the most popular English radio stations in Malaysia, broadcasted nationwide and also in neighbouring Indonesia, Singapore and Brunei. We were of course dead excited at the opportunity and jumped at the chance to be grilled by Kevin and Diyana about our travels.

Nomadic Boys – Interview With Our Ladyboy Friend in Bangkok

Author: , March 12th, 2015

Nomadic BoysBangkok is our favourite base in Asia and we have spent many months here during out travels. We loved the Bangkok gay scene, particularly the buzzy atmosphere of Silom Soi 4 and the drag queen shows at clubs like DJ Station.

Thailand is of course notorious for its lady boys and on our nights out in Silom we met the sexy and glamorous Regina, who told us about her life as a ladyboy in Bangkok and in Asia.

Greetings Regina and welcome to our blog. Please introduce yourself:

Hello nomadicboys! I am Regina, 32 years old, originally from Iloilo City in the Philippines. I am a freelance hairdresser and make up artist and I frequently come to Bangkok for shopping, beauty enhancements or beauty treatments.

Interview With Grace Newman, Owner of One of the Oldest Lesbian Vacation Resorts

Author: , March 18th, 2012

Interview With the Highlands Inn's Grace NewmanThe Highlands Inn in Bethlehem, NH has been a lesbian vacation spot and playground since the 1980s. Now that same-sex marriage is legal in New Hampshire, it’s become a lesbian wedding destination. We spoke with Grace Newman the owner of the Highlands Inn.

Grace, how long have you owned the Highlands Inn?

We bought the property in 1983 and completely renovated the main building, grounds, and swimming pool. Three years later, I bought and restored the Farmhouse, a charming, 200-year old house that’s the oldest house in Bethlehem and just a short walk from the Main Inn. We opened the Cottage in September 1990.

What made you decide to open an inn just for lesbians?

In 1982, after much discussion, my then-partner and I decided to leave the corporate world and try innkeeping. As lesbians, we were acutely aware of how awkward it was back then to book a room with only one bed! We spent several months looking for a suitable property in New Hampshire, Vermont, and Western Massachusetts. When we found what became The Highlands Inn, we knew it was the perfect place-located in the heart of New Hampshire’s beautiful White Mountains, just minutes from the Interstate, and with the privacy provided by lots of land.

San Francisco-Based Fab.Com Allows Users to Rank Businesses Nationwide

Author: , January 13th, 2011

Jason Goldberg, the founder of Fab.com, runs a review and rankings website that caters to gay customers. Available in 10,000 cities, including San Francisco, Fab.com allows its members to evaluate and recommend everything from restaurants to gyms to vacation destinations.

What prompted the idea for Fab.com?

As a gay man who has started Internet companies, I really wanted a definitive resource to help gay men discover the world and enjoy their lives. It’s kind of like a gay Facebook meets a gay Yelp. The idea is that a gay man might not like the same thing as a 55-year-old grandmother.
