Perfect for Quiet Retreats, Relaxing Getaways & Memorable Moments

The Manor House Inn was designed as a tranquil retreat with its expansive lawns, English gardens, forested pathways, and babbling brooks. Our desire is to honor its tradition ~ providing a place for couples to relax, reconnect, and recharge in understated yet elegant surroundings. The aesthetic is curated to be warm and welcoming, with small glimpses of the mystique and magic that captivated the Victorian imagination 125 years ago. We hope you'll enjoy the vintage furnishings, period finishes, and subtle whimsical details meant to evoke a sense of elegance and enchantment.

In warmer months, guest are welcome to gather around the outdoor fire in Adirondack chairs. When there's a chill in the air, cozy up in the Great Room in front of the oversized hearth. Settle into a comfy reading nook or play a board game in the library. Enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks in the beverage room. Savor the sunshine and serenity of the three seasons space.

Explore expansive grounds and beautiful downtown Norfolk, only steps away. The inn is also just a short walk to forest paths and world-class scenic hiking. Be still and catch a glimpse of the neighborhood foxes, fawns, and birds. Lawn games, bug spray, and bear bells are available in the three seasons room.

Take a stroll and discover hidden alcoves, a forest gazebo, romantic picnic tables, and comfortable Adirondack chairs surrounded by the natural beauty of Litchfield Hills.
