NIAGARA HOSPITALITY AT ITS BEST

Welcome to John's Gate Gourmet B&B located in the Historic town of Niagara on the Lake. Come enjoy a quiet retreat away from the city and the pressures of daily routine.

Our B&B is custom-built pre-Victorian style, walking distance to the Queen Street shops, fine/casual dining, Shaw Festival theatres and to a winery or two. Walking distance to spa facilities at Pillar and Post, and to the oldest Golf Course in North America - the Golf Club. A few minutes drive to many more wineries, Niagara Falls, Casino Niagara, Fallsview Casino and Resort, Butterfly Conservatory, Horticultural Gardens, MarineLand and Game Farm, Antique and Boutique shops, dozens of museums and many more attractions. John's Gate Gourmet B&B is completely private with a private entrance for guests, private living/dining room with all the amenities. A full three/four course gourmet breakfast is served everyday.

Enjoy a relaxing evening at the world famous Shaw Festival, where plays written by George Bernard Shaw, the Irish playwright, and his contemporaries like Oscar Wilde, are shown daily. There are two theatres associated with the world famous Shaw Festival - The Royal George Theatre and the Court House Theatre. The Niagara Parkway has one of the nicest bicycle paths where tourists can roller-blade all the way to Niagara Falls. Enjoy horse-back riding, jetboating, helicopter rides and walking trails. There are numerous bicycle trails. Ask us for bicycle route maps to the wineries, or just for the Niagara Region. From May to October, pick your own apples, peaches, strawberries, pears and cherries directly from the Niagara Region farms.

The Niagara Region is a wine lovers paradise. Tourists may take guided tours or visit the many wineries on their own. Spend a day biking through the vineyards and dine at casual or gourmet restaurants. Take advantage of the festivals organized by the Wineries of Niagara on the Lake. For special winery events, activities, tastings and dinners held at the wineries, please check our calendar for Winery Events. Take a wine tour and savour the taste of wines from the Niagara Region.

John's Gate Gourmet Bed and Breakfast welcomes everyone regardless of race, sex, creed and colour.
