New Gay Travel Site Gayosphere.com Launched

Author: , January 11th, 2013

New Gay Travel Site Gayosphere.com LaunchedAlan Beck feels like Christopher Columbus. Like Columbus, Beck is mapping out a new world. For over thirty years he has been on an expedition, traveling the globe, mapping out the most gay-welcoming locations and establishments–the best places to be one’s self.

“The Internet makes traveling easier, but false and liberally used labels can drive you in the wrong direction. What does gay-friendly even mean? I say less labels and more content–honest, rich and explored content open to feedback,” says the founder of Gayosphere.com who describes himself as part cartographer, part businessman and all gay.

Some locales are known for their gay and lesbian acceptance, but information on “gay-friendliness” outside the bigger cities is unreliable. Beck is changing that with Gayosphere.com, a travel resource site that provides reliable, unbiased, honest reviews of towns where same sex couples and gay singles can feel welcome.
