Gay Athens

Gay Athens Athens has the most organized gay scene in Greece, with a variety of gay bars, saunas and cruising spots that will satisfy even the most demanding traveller. Men in Athens are considered among the most handsome and stylish in Europe. And they’re really open to tourists — not only for flirting, but for showing them around the city, too. Gay life in Athens is mostly gathered in the center of the city, around the two main neighborhoods of Gazi and St Irene’s Square. Both offer great entertainment choices, and you can easily walk from one to the other.

The Secret Gay Life of Ancient Bath

Ancient Bath Bath is one of the most ancient cities in the UK – but nothing here is older than the water from its hot springs. It fell as rain around 10,000 years ago and sank 2km into the ground. Here hot rocks heat it to 69C (156F) before it bubbles to the earth’s surface – conveniently at perfect bathing temperature. The city that has grown up around these hot springs is globally famous for its handsome architecture. And it’s been attracting tourists for almost 2,900 years. So we booked a lodge with self-catering holiday specialists Hoseasons and started a weekend of Christmas shopping, historical discovery and pampering. What really happened in a Roman bathhouse? The Romans didn’t invent Ancient Bath. It was discovered in 863BC when the Celtic Prince Bladud was cured from his skin disease after bathing in the waters. By the time the Romans arrived, around 60AD, it was already an ancient British shrine. But the Romans combined those traditions with their own bathing culture. They identified their goddess Minerva with the local deities and built a shrine as well as a bathhouse.

Most of the bars are located on or around the so called Gay Brighton Village, in the area called Kemptown, comprised between St James Street on the North, and the Marina on the South. These are the 5 top features you can’t miss in Gay Brighton according to Scruffy Gios! Gay Brighton – Official Nudist Beach Yes. Gay Brighton has an official naturist beach! Where is it? You don’t have to walk too much or look for some hidden hints to find it: the official Nudist Beach is right in front of the town, on the Marina, walking distance from the Pier. El Retiro Park, Madrid – Keep Calm and Wander

El Retiro Park, Madrid, Spain, Alain, Kep Calm and Wander, El Retiro Park in Madrid is one place you can go when the summer heat is too much to bear. It’s a pleasant place to escape from all the academic shit I had last summer. The park has vast greenery and cool shades everywhere. But, I think the best way to explore the park is through a bicycle. Don’t make the mistake like I did – walked around for 5 hours (with rest intervals) under the searing heat. I slept that night with nasty burns on my shoulders and neck. Here are some things to do at El Retiro Park (aka Things I did at El Retiro) Walk and explore the gardens. This well-manicured garden below is the most interesting and photogenic one. Look at those trees! They’re instagram-perfect, right?

Charming Trastevere, Rome – Globetrotter Girls

Trastevere - Dani I was beyond excited to return to Rome at the end of my Italy trip last week – a city I hadn’t been to in many years but that I had truly loved during my previous visits. Since I didn’t have much time, I decided to spend most of my time in Trastevere, my favorite neighborhood in Rome. Located on the west bank of the river (Trastevere translates to across the Tiber (river) ), it has become a favorite with many Rome fans over the years, yet it doesn’t see as many visitors as the part of town on the east bank. Why is that? Because all of Rome’s famous sights, like the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon… are located on the east bank of the Tiber, and most people don’t make it on the other side of the river during their visit to Rome – except for the obligatory stop in Vatican City, which is also on the west bank. What I love about Trastevere is that is the neighborhood in Rome where not only can you find typical Italian architecture, charming piazzas (squares), cobble stone streets (many of which are pedestrianized), many outdoor cafes and restaurants, but also plenty of street art, which gives the neighborhood a bit of an edge.

Gay Athens – The Scruffy Italian Traveler

gay-athens-sergio Gay Athens life is lively and interesting. And the Boys, oh the Boys… If you are looking for a place full of Scruffy, Hunky, Beefy types… oh well don’t look any further! Athens is the TOP destination for your next holidays (Or at least long weekend if you happen to live in Europe!). Most of the life in Gay Athens happen in Gazi area. Gazi takes its name from an old gas depot that stands in the area: no worry, the gas depot is not in use anymore since 1984. Since then, the area has become more and more gentrified, and nowadays it is a trendy area, plenty of restaurants, bars and clubs targeting the young crowds, and the gay crowd obviously. To get to Gazi is easy: if you are staying in the centre of Athens, you can definitely walk to Gazi Square from anywhere, as its position is pretty central. Another option is to get there through underground: Kerameikos station has its exit right in the middle of the square! And it is around this square that most of the life of Gay Athens happen! Be aware: as in the Southern European tradition, the nightlife in Gay Athens starts very late! So, don’t rush! Have a siesta, a late dinner, and get ready to enjoy Athens until very late!

Athens: The Greek Capital

Athens - Sergio Scardia Usually Athens is the starting point of many trips around the Aegean sea and its beautiful islands: not many visitors decide to give a go to a tour around the city. Wrong choice: the Greek capital is definitely worthy to go around and enjoy! A visit to Athens should start with a visit to the Acropolis: the heart of the millennial history of the city! It is also the best point to enjoy an amazing view over the metropolis! Only from the Acropolis and its Parthenon you can realize the majesty of the Greek Capital, a really huge city surrounded by both the sea and the mountains! Despite being such a big city, the center of Athens is definitely walk-able! Soon after visiting the Acropolis my suggestion is to get the underground and start a walking tour of the center of the Greek Capital from Omonia Square. Walking along Panepistimiou road, you will find a few of the main sights of the city: the Huge Adrian’ s National Library of Athens, the beautiful Academy of Athens, the National History Museum.

Vespa Guide To Getting Laid In Gay Berlin

Gay Berlin Gay travel bloggers Nomadic Boys say Berlin is super gay— and who are we to disagree? But if you want proof, how’s this? Schoneberg has been the heart of the gay Berlin community since the 1920s when it became the first ever gay village. Of course Schoneberg has many gay bars and clubs to choose from — whatever you are into, you’ll find it. Outside of Schoneberg, alternative gay scenes have started to spring up in the East over the past 20 years — particularly Kreuzberg, Neukolln and Friedrichshain. It’s super easy to find popular gay hangouts in these neighborhoods. It’s not all good news in Germany though — while same-sex partnership was legalized in 2001, Germany has yet to legalize same-sex marriage. Surprising, considering recent polls have indicated that a majority of Germans support it. Of course — we know you’re not necessarily looking to get married in Berlin. You want naughty fun — and here’s the best places we’ve found to get laid.
