Horizon Guest House – Gay Owned Bed & Breakfast in Captain Cook, Hawaii

Horizon Guest House - Gay Owned Bed & Breakfast in Captain Cook, Hawaii

The Horizon Guest House is a unique Big Island of Hawaii bed and breakfast, a great place to relax, take a deep breath, and get away from it all.

Our Hawai’i B&B sits on the Western slope of Mauna Loa at 1,100 feet above sea level, giving each of our guest suites a twenty-mile unobstructed view of the Pacific Ocean and miles of green grass. Our property is surrounded by a working cattle ranch on all sides, so we have no neighbors.

On the hillside below the house, you’ll find a solar-heated, double-edged infinity swimming pool. There’s also a jacuzzi built into the corner of the pool. It’s the perfect setting to relax and breathe in the clean Pacific air.

In the daytime, you’ll enjoy warm ocean breezes, and in the evening the cool air comes down the mountain. Temperatures run from the mid-sixties at night to the mid to upper seventies during the day. We love Hawaiian weather.

The Horizon Guest House was designed and built as a B&B, offering maximum privacy and quiet inside the house itself. The layout of the house lets each room take advantage of not only the tropical breezes, but also the panoramic views.
