Christopher’s by the Bay – Gay Owned Bed & Breakfast in Provincetown, Massachusetts

Christopher's by the Bay - Gay Owned Bed & Breakfast in Provincetown, Massachusetts

On northern edge of Massachusetts’ Cape Cod, between sea and sand, you’ll find Provincetown – a vibrant, gay friendly New England village. Provincetown is a unique, lovely place, with the warm sands of Race Point and the shimmering reflection of autumn sunsets over Provincetown Bay.

Christopher’s by the Bay, a Provincetown bed and breakfast, is in the heart of this historic Atlantic harbor town, in a beautiful mid-nineteenth century home on a quiet street.

We’re close to everything – get out and explore the east end art galleries, or take the short bike ride to Herring Cove beach. Or stay in and relax with a good book in our quiet, beautiful garden.

Our house has a long history. It has been home to school teachers, artists, fishermen and sea captains. Many of Provincetown’s records were destroyed in a fire in the 1920’s, but more recent records show that it has been an inn since the ’70’s. It was originally called the Swanberry Inn, then Carpe Diem. The Inn has had the current name, Christopher’s by the Bay, since 1999.
