Welcome to Man Place, a unique bed and breakfast situated in the mountains of the Potomac Highlands in the Eastern Panhandle of Wet Virginia. Man Place sits on 65 private acres and clothing is optional both indoors and out. Located nearby over a million acres of national forest lands, numerous state parks and forests, thousands of hiking trails, and so many more recreational options, you’ll have a hard time deciding what to do first. And of course if you just want to get away and relax, Man Place is the perfect getaway to enjoy the peace and serenity you’ll find only in the mountains.
Visiting Israel is always a wonderful idea. You’ll want to see as many historic sites as you can while you are there, and specifically in the holy city of Jerusalem. Jerusalem packs a huge punch in the tourist department – from ancient architecture to modern structures. But the Jerusalem museums are don’t-miss outings. Here are my favorites.
Sitges is one of our favourite small Spanish towns. It’s also one of the most gay friendly towns we have been to with some great gay beaches.
The thing we like most about the gay beaches in Sitges is that they are easy to access. We have found that in many destinations, the gay beaches are quite hidden and it can take a lot of effort to find them. However in Sitges, the main gay beach is right in your face in front of the town centre.
At Ecuador’s Casa Divina Lodge, we offer elegant and comfortable lodging in the middle of the Ecuadorian cloud forest.
We boast 4 private hand-built wooden cabins in a natural setting. where our guests can enjoy the sounds of nature. Casa Divina Lodge is located one and a half kilometers from the town of Mindo, Ecuador. Mindo is in the western lowlands of Ecuador, about 2 hours from Quito, and known for its mega biodiversity.
We’ve been to North beach in San Francisco a number of times, but I always complain about how it’s only restaurants and coffee shops – no other real parts of Italian culture seem to be represented.
Well, that’s changed, and for the better. If you’re an Italianofile like Mark and I, there’s now an Italian bookstore in the heart of North beach, chock-full of Italian language books.
We’re just back from the GRL (GayRomLit) con in Albuquerque – part of my “other” life as a queer writer.
We explored downtown and Old Town, and thought we’d share some of our favorite things about each. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency in the heart of the “new” downtown. Albuquerque is clean and quiet – at least in October. We were both surprised by the paucity of public art – there are very few murals or public statues and sculptures here.

Why stay at an impersonal hotel when you can enjoy attentive care from a local host at My Palm Springs Friend? Here, you’re more than a guest, you’re a friend. Ideally located in a quiet and safe neighborhood at East Mesquite and South Farrell Drives, relax within a gated condo community surrounded by a swaying palms, beautiful desertscaping, cool refreshing lawns and colorful, fragrant flowers.
Good morning, well, buongiorno from Firenze, as it is really early afternoon.
Yes!! Now I am truly back in my second home. However, Susan and I had a delightful 2 days in Bologna. Since we arrived there on Sunday, so many points of interest were closed. We did not want to visit museums, anyway. Bologna is a lovely place to walk.
