Periodically we’ll feature one of our properties here to let our readers know about some great gay friendly places to stay: Coming to Provincetown? Somerset House Inn B&B offers year round lodging in the heart of Ptown, on Commercial Street just across from the bay. We have a number of guestrooms with bay views, and can provide a friendly alternative to an impersonal hotel. We serve our guests a hot breakfast each morning between 8:30 and 10:30 am – breakfast includes coffee, juice, and hot tea, pastries, fruit, cereal, yogurt, and a hot dish. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions or needs in advance so we can provide something appropriate for you. We also provide evening cocktails (including wine and beer and our own secret Love Potion margarita), and host a barbeque party on Saturdays in the summertime. If you’re commemorating your anniversary or celebrating some other important event, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to help make it memorable. We can pick you up at the airport or at the Provincetown ferry, and we also offer free parking bwtween April and early November. If you will need pick-up or parking during your stay, please let us know in advance. Each room comes with cable television, a DVD player, wifi internet, private bath, L’Occitaine bath products, air conditionaing and heater (individually controlled), hair drier, mini refrigerator, and phone/vmail. In addition, some rooms have fireplaces. Somerset House Inn B&B is non-smoking, and we do not allow pets. If you’re pet starved, though, our golden retriever, Brody, would love to meet you! Next time your travels bring you to Provincetown, come stay with us at the Somerset House Inn!
