This Lewes Delaware bed and breakfast is a great choice for a summer beach vacation or weekend getaway. At your doorstep is bird watching, fishing or canoeing. If you are a dog owner, bring your pet here and relax. The daffodils were fabulous, tulips incredible and now the iris are blooming. Sit by the pool and watch the heron and other birds. The Lazy L offers 5 spacious rooms with queen sized beds (single rollaways are available too). We are located just outside the beach town of Lewes so it is a quick trip for beaches, parks, outlet shopping and first class restaurants.
We have a heated swimming pool (open for the ’06 season), hot tub, game room, pool table, screened porches, free wireless internet access, and DVD/VCRs.
We serve a luscious full course breakfast in our dining room each day from 8:30 to 9:30 am. Selections include fruit, fresh baked breads, waffles or pancakes or quiche or eggs and breakfast meats. Guests rave about the food!!
We are the ‘pet friendliest’. All size, housebroken, well mannered dogs are always welcome at the Lazy L. Pet owners will find conveniences that make traveling with your pet relaxing and comfortable for everyone. We are minutes from petfriendly beaches and restaurants.
We can accommodate groups from 10 to 23.
Our 8 acres provide guests with plenty of space to enjoy. Our heated swimming pool and hot tub our very popular. Rooms for guest use include a Kitchenette, observation tower for for bird watching, reading and visiting, two spacious decks, 2 screened porches, an outside shower and an exercise area. Four large sitting rooms invite you to lounge watch satellite TV, use the VCR/DVD, or play pool. We have DSL and Wireless internet access.
The Lazy L is a pet friendly resort. We love to meet well-mannered, housebroken dogs and cats (limit 2 pets per room). All dogs must be socialized to meet and play with other dogs.
We have a large fenced in area for running, exercise and off-leash play. In order to make your enjoyable we have directions to pet friendly beaches and restaurants. We have an outside shower with a hand held sprayer to remove salt water and sand after you play at the beach.
