Edinburgh Like a Local

Captain Sir James LongworthCaptain Sir James Longworth talks about his hometown, Edinburgh:

I’ve lived here since… I started university in 1995. I stayed because the city is a magical mix of old and new.

My favorite queer bar has to be… The Street, on 2b Picardy Place in the east of the city. All are welcome any time of the day.

My favourite place to people-watch is… Princes Street – thousands of tourists staring in awe at the beauty of the city to the screech of bagpipes.

Here in Edinburgh, I always look forward to… The Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The City explodes with visitors for the month of August.
