Mountain Laurel Bed and Breakfast (Lesbian owned and operated), is located in the mountains southeast of Asheville, NC. We have 13 acres to roam, large rooms, with all king beds, private baths, mountain views, and lots of privacy.

There is a hot tub for 6 outside under the sun or stars. We have a great selection of videos and books to entertain you if you want to relax and chill out. There is a satellite TV in the common living room for your enjoyment, and wireless internet is available.

If you are up for action, you can go whitewater rafting or horseback riding (both only an hour away), go tubing on numerous nearby rivers, stroll through Historic Biltmore House, or shop for hours in Asheville’s many and varied shops.

After a day of tripping about you can relax on the deck with your drink as you watch the sun set. We’ll supply the glasses and ice; also mints on your pillow.

Breakfast will be cooked by your hostess and chef, Lyssa.  You can choose from selections such as:  Blueberry Pancakes*, Pecan Waffles, Eggs Benedict, or Omelets, along with fresh fruit, coffee, and juice.  We also cater to special requests and occasions.

* Due to a spring freeze, the blueberry crop may have been destroyed.  Blueberry pancakes may not be an option in 2007.

Since we have dogs, a cat, and 2 horses, we apologize, but we have no place to accommodate other pets.

We have three rooms from which to choose:

The HIDEAWAY ROOM has a king bed as well as a three quarter bed, a color TV and VCR, CD player, two-person Jacuzzi (sorry no shower), a separate entrance, a cathedral ceiling, and is on the top level.

The SUNRISE ROOM, on the main level, is spacious with a king bed, a very large 2 person Jacuzzi with shower and full bath, a color TV and VCR, private entrance to the deck, ceiling fan with cathedral ceiling, and the best wake-up views with mountains all around.

The SUNFLOWER is a new addition to Mountain Laurel Bed & Breakfast! The Sunflower Room features a private entrance through French doors to the deck, a color TV, with satellite reception, a king-sized bed, and a full tub & shower bath.  If you want a room that’s bright, with incredible views of the mountains, then check out the Sunflower Room.
