Friday Evening October 4th we kick off the weekend with an exclusive sunset cocktail party for the Rainbow VIP ticket holders and all guests of the Maui Sunseeker LGBT Resort from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Are you an 80’s disco baby or a 90’s rocker? Both will be happy in the 80’s vs. 90’s dance party at Moose McGillycuddy’s afterward from 8 pm to midnight.

Maui Hula DancersWe then start Saturday, October 5th off with an amazingly beautiful hike at 8:30 in morning where all are welcome to this free event. Then from 11 am to 4:30 pm, have fun at the beautiful Maui Tropical Plantation where we will have dozens of vendor booths, fun contests, food and drink and lots of musical entertainment. THIS IS A FREE EVENT OPEN TO ALL.

After the outdoor festival, savor wonderful Hawaiian Cuisine at the Maui Pride dinner from 6 pm to 7:30 pm while you take in a raucous show featuring Streisand and Summer and friends. Don’t leave yet as the night is young and so are you……dance the night away at the Official Pride Dance from 7:30 pm to 10 pm. Afterward is the ‘After Party’ at Ambrosia Martini Lounge in Kihei. Maui LuauIf summer was way too short, keep the pride going on Maui in early October and plan your trip now while tickets and rooms are still available.

Instead of competing with the big cities for Pride in June, the LGBT community on Maui opted to hold their Pride Event on the first weekend of October every year. It all happens on October 4-6, 2013.

This year the event looks like it will host just the right size crowd of 1500 kama’aiana and haole’s. Tickets are available at www.mauipride.org

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2013

5:30-7:30 PM – VIP PARTY AT MAUI SUNSEEKER LGBT RESORT- for guests of the hotel and VIP Pride ticket holders only on the amazing rooftop deck of the hotel. Start the weekend right by sipping in the amazing sunset as she sinks into the Pacific. 8:00 PM to Midnight – Get your groove on at the 80’s versus 90’s Pride Dance Party at Moose McGillycuddy’s in Kihei.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2013

8:30 AM to 10:30 AM – Maui Pride Culture Hike is a free event for all. You’ll be joining the other community members to hike along the amazing Kahakuloa Ridge.

11 AM to 4:30 PM – The largest LGBT outdoor festival in the entire state with vendor booths, food and drinks, concerts and dancing all day long. Don’t miss this wonderful event held at the beautiful Maui Tropical Plantation.

6 PM to 7:30 PM – An evening dinner with Streisand, Summer and their closest friends. Enjoy the show as you feast on a fabulous Pride Dinner at the Maui Tropical Plantation.

7:30 PM to 10 PM – Rock out to the top 40’s, house and other dance hits from DJ Ron. The music starts spinning with the laser light show right after the dinner show and continues on through the night at the Maui Tropical Plantation

10:30 PM til Closing – Don’t stop….keep rockin at the Pride After-party at Ambrosia’s Martini Lounge

10 AM – Take care of that hangover at a Stella Blues Brunch and bid farewell to your newfound Ohana.
