Colorado Springs - Don and Ray

Colorado SpringsWe have been going to Colorado Springs for years to visit relatives and also to take advantage of the many things that the city has to offer. Located just 60 miles south of Denver, it is much smaller but yet offers so many exciting and interesting things to see and do. Before going be sure and check out their website, http://go.pikes-peak.com/what-to-do-in-colorado-springs

Garden of the GodsAmong the many things to see is Pike’s Peak and you can either drive to the top or take the train. The Garden of the Gods and Nature Center is a must see. If you are into Christmas, then visit Santa’s Workshop at the North Pole. Other sights to see are the May Museum of Natural History, the Manitou Indian Cliff Dwellings, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Miramont Mountain Castle Museum,
Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame and the Western Museum of Mining and Industry.

Be sure and do not miss the Colorado Springs Fine Art Center,
http://www.csfineartscenter.org/ where you will find marvelous exhibitions of art work, photographer as well as theatre. Again, be sure and visit http://go.pikes-peak.com/what-to-do-in-colorado-springs before traveling to Colorado Springs. Another great website is: http://gaycolorado.com/colorado-springs/
