3 Days in the Lesbian Lake District – Our Taste for Life

3 Days in the Lesbian Lake District - Our Taste for Life

The Best Lesbian Lake District Itinerary
– 3 Days of Adventure!

3 days in the lesbian Lake District might not seem like a lot of time. But if you plan that time wisely, you can still achieve a lot during your trip. In this guide, I share our own tried & tested Lake District itinerary, including things to do, where to eat, and the best places to stay!

Our recent trip to the Lake District was our first time visiting. It was somewhere that had always been on our radar, but we’d never made it a priority. To be honest, we didn’t realise quite how magnificent it is.

The lakes have everything that we love about a place. Idyllic lakes, quaint countryside villages, and adventurous hikes up into the mountains.

This 3 day Lake District itinerary combines a bit of all those things. It’s ideal for couples, solo travellers, first-time visitors, and anybody else who wants to spend a long weekend in the Lake District.

Camping in Buttermere in the Lake District – Our Taste for Life

Camping in Buttermere in the Lake District - Our Taste for Life

Lesbian Camping in Buttermere in the Lake District

If you plan on camping in Buttermere in the Lake District, you’ve come to the right place. In this guide, I’ll share everything you need to know about camping in Buttermere, including local campsites, wild camping, and park-ups for campervans.

Located in the north-western region of the Lake District, Buttermere is known for its beautiful lake and picturesque setting amongst the surrounding fells.

We recently had 3-days in the Lake District and spent most of our time in and around this amazing region. It’s remote compared to other areas like Windermere but still offers plenty of things to see and do.

If you’re a keen hiker, you’ll find some cracking fell walks in the area, such as Haystacks and Fleetwith Pike. Or, if you prefer to take it easy, round the lake is an ideal spot to chill out for the day.

England's Lake District

Lake District - pixabay Hang on in there – Spring officially reaches the Northern Hemisphere on 20 March. Summer will soon follow on 21 June. And as the temperatures warm up, it’s the perfect time to plan outdoor pursuits for the year ahead. Of course, Brits and Anglophiles alike should consider the Lake District in Northwest England. It covers a staggering 2362 square kilometres, and is home to 10 mountains over 2900 feet tall. What’s more, the tallest, Scafell Pike, stands tall at 3210 feet. This year, Manchester Pride is launching an initiative to trek across these peaks while raising funds for the Manchester Pride Community Fund. Also, the project also seeks to raise awareness for International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia & Biphobia (IDAHOT), which falls on 17 May. The trek takes place Saturday 13 May – for more information, click here.
