Wedding Planning is officially my thing…  |  Buenos Aires, Argentina  |  As from last night, I am officially a Wedding Planner, such an amazing and rewarding experience. Thank you Alex Greenwich and Victor Hoeld for letting me be part of your LOVE STORY. Here is a brief Photo Album of your journey here in Buenos Aires with all my love and respect. What an inspirational couple and an amazing family indeed. As Alex’s brother said last night at Estancia Villa María during his speech to the Groom+Groom… Marriage equality is more than bringing two people together… It is about bringing two families together…. Que VIVAN los novios. (Special thanks to the staff of Estancia Villa Maria, Design CE Hotel and ROJO Tango for all their help and support.)
Planning to SAY I DO…. do not hesitate to contact me, I can assist you and your Groom plan one of the most special days of your life. Argentina, Canada, Thailand, United States, …. you name it, I am there.  CM

GPS Carlos Melia with one foot on the plane to Bangkok
 |  Thailand  |  Just checked in at British Airways in Heathrow – London,  flight BA09 with final destination to Bangkok.  Only 11 hours away to a full month exploring Thailand and all its wonders. I will be covering and reviewing Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Krabi, Phuket, Koh Samui and Koh Phi Phi. Stay tuned for a full month of luxury, adventure, culture and tradition by carlosmeliablog.com.  Thank you everyone for the concern and comment regarding the floods in Thailand, I will know more about. Anyhow, I am beginning my trip to South East Asia, with this simple phrase which sums up life in Thailand and the attitude there in general – Mai Pen Rai –  which literally means “no worries” or “its nothing“. More tomorrow from Bangkok. CM

Following the steps of Oscar Wilde at Cadogan Hotel

Following the steps of Oscar Wilde at Cadogan Hotel
  |  London, UK  | Following the steps of Oscar Wilde at Room #118 of the Cadogan Hotel London. The scent of green carnations, the taste of Pierre Jouet Champagne and the views of Sloane Street and Pont Street wearing a similar jacket as he did, waiting, in this same room and window, for the police to take him to his imprisonment on charges of sodomy and gross indecency. A tribute to Coming OUT Day in North America and Gay Love Worldwide. More to come on the Cadogan Hotel… CM
