Out at the Park Returns to San Diego in April

Out at the Park - San DiegoTake me OUT to the ball game! Grab your friends and family because one San Diego’s most fabulously fun outing is about to return. San Diego LGBT Pride’s annual Out at the Park will take place Saturday, April 19, at Petco Park. This sells out every year, and every year it is a BLAST!

This year there is a special treat as the San Diego Women’s Chorus will be singing the National Anthem! Padre tickets purchased online will be available for pickup starting April 14, at the San Diego Pride Office located at: 3620 30th Street, San Diego, CA 92104, or tickets will be at the Tailgate Party on the day of the game.

Out at Universal Studios to Coincide With L.A. Pride

Universal Studios FloridaA brand-new gay event – Out at Universal Studios – debuts next month to coincide with Los Angeles pride. SDGLN has the details:

Taking place Saturday, June 8, Universal Studios Hollywood theme park will close for the general public at 9 m and remain open exclusively for OUT at Universal guests until 1 am. Event guests can enjoy rides including Transformers 3D: The Ride, Revenge of the Mummy and The Simpsons along with other park attractions including an outside dance area with live DJ’s and performances. As an added bonus, the OUT at Universal ticket price includes admission to the park earlier in the day before the private event begins. Guests may arrive to the park any time after 3 pm and enjoy all of the additional shows and attractions at the park before the private OUT at Universal celebration begins at 9 pm.

It’s a great way to see the Park, surrounded by thousands of your closest family.

Out In The Park is an annual private LGBTQ Saturday night event featuring unlimited riding of ALL Six Flags Great America’s amazing rides and live music by an internationally sought after DJ who calls Chicago home, Matthew Harvat, delivering a complete 4 hour party-celebration dance area everyone can enjoy when taking a break from riding. New this year is a laser light show to dance above the crowd and some go-go gods to dance with the crowd.

Plus live musical performance by national recording artists Eli Lieb, Jess Godwin and Isaiah Grass.

Salt Lake City: Gay Day at the Zoo May 14th

Gay Day at the Zoo Salt Lake CityThe fourth annual Gay Day at the Zoo will be May 14 and attendance is expected to be higher than ever. The event is organized by the Gay Escape, a safe and social environment for people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender.

“The event is for everybody,” said Dan Nichols, the Gay Escape vice president. “We do an activity every month and we wanted to have one that was really family-friendly that everybody can enjoy. This isn’t just for gay men. It’s for friends, allies and family.”

The group will have members at the zoo all day, but it officially starts at 1 p.m. and a group photo will be taken near the entrance at 3 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to wear red so that everyone can recognize who is involved with the event.
