Kimpton Hotels plans to bring a gay friendly hotel to the Cayman Islands. Cayman27.com reports:

With more than 50 hotels dotted around America, the Kimpton group is coming to Cayman, planning to move into a new hotel built at the site of the old Courtyard Marriott on Seven Mile Beach. As Cayman 27′s Paul Kennedy finds out, the hotel has a reputation for attracting one particular type of traveler. John Tanzella of the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association said: “I think it’s exciting. I mean, i think i’m hopeful by now attitudes have changed a little bit where there won’t be such an outcry if a gay couple where staying on the island but i guess that remains to be seen.”

Kimpton has a reputation for being very gay friendly.
