Welcome to Rudy’s B&B – a cozy, gay owned bed and breakfast in the Shawmut Hill area of Boston.
Our Boston B&B is in our beautiful, historic home, and is furnished in a distinct European style.
We have a great location near the Shawmut Hill subway station with easy access to many great local restaurants and beaches and museums.
Our Boston bed and breakfast offers three guest rooms, each with antique furnishings and TV/sitting area. One room also offers a private half bathroom, with extra room for kids; the other rooms share a bathroom.
There’s also lots of parking on our quiet Boston street.
Each morning, we serve a solid Dutch breakfast at Rudy’s B&B to get you started for a day exploring the greater Boston area.

The Conch Inn is centrally located in the mid Cape area making access to both the upper and lower Cape easy and convenient. The town of Dennis where the Inn is located has some of the most beautiful beaches on Cape Cod, in fact one is in easy walking distance from the Inn on Nantucket sound.

Aeirie Beach Club is at 425 Commercial Street in the heart of Provincetown. We provide luxurious oceanfront apartment rentals – private, fully equipped accommodations that include private balconies with panoramic beach and Cape Cod Bay views.
Aerie Beach Club has four accommodations available – a provate cottage and three apartments, one per floor, in our main building. The property also includes a beautiful lawn with gardens that opens onto our own private harbor beach.
Each of our Provincetown vacation rental apartments has a complete kitchen, direct dial phone and voice mail, wireless internet access, a DVD player, 2 televisions, CD player and BBQ grill.
Apartment One (the cottage) is air conditioned. Apartments 2, 3 and 4 in our main building have floor fans.

Summer may be officially ending but the fun is just beginning in Provincetown. The historically gay and lesbian mecca on the tip of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, has enjoyed a beautiful and rainbow-festooned summer, including appearances from legendary LGBT performers, and even a visit by Hillary Clinton and Cher. And now it’s gearing up for even more femme-forward festivities! Aside from the general pleasure of strolling Commercial Street hand-in-hand with your love, there are some big events to put in your calendar.
The 32nd Annual Women’s Week In Provincetown is now the longest-running women’s cultural festival in the country. This year the Festival runs from October 7 through October 16. Mary Lambert and Our Lady J round up the lineup of superstars who will perform in a benefit concert for Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors Fund, which aims to alleviate LGBT youth homelessness. The closing night concert will be followed by an exclusive Rainbow Party and is one of several events produced by the Women Innkeepers of Provincetown.
The entire Women’s Week will be a star-studded celebration of culture and community with Kate Clinton, Lily Tomlin, Karen Williams, Vickie Shaw, Julie Goldman, Suzanne Westenhoefer, Poppy Champlin, Jennie McNulty, Cameron Esposito, Rhea Butcher, Cris Williamson, Susan Werner, Suede, Zoe Lewis, Laura Zucker, and more performing. Sporty dykes are not left out, with events that include pickup basketball, an annual golf tournament, and Kate Clinton’s always-riotous Touch Football Classic.
Greetings from the tiny island nation of Provincetown, Mass. Provincetown is the town that theme weekends built. Thematically, we have already cycled through Film Festival, Portuguese Festival, Circuit Party/Fourth of July, and Bear Week. Of course while famous for our separatist-crowd-pleasing theme weeks, we have also been cycling through many other phases.
Florally, we have cycled through crocus, daffodils, tulips, lilac, wisteria, iris, rose, day lily, and hydrangea. Maritimely speaking, if seal-shark-orca is a food chain cycle, we are in its jaws. Heartbreakingly, we have cycled through the caterpillar-pupa-gypsy moth life cycle. In spring, caterpillars defoliated wide swaths of mid-Atlantic and Cape trees. Naturalists blame the devastation on the lack of moisture that is essential to grow a caterpillar-killing fungus. Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort blames it on Hillary Clinton.
Last week’s theme was Girlsplash! And yes, the organizers trademarked the exclamation point before poor Jeb! even thought of it.

Beachfront: Newly remodeled and upgraded during the winter of 2012/2013. Old Cape Cod meets the 21st Century. This well maintained, and newly remodeled Vintage Cape Cod beachfront cottage on Springhill Beach retains its old Cape Cod charm while providing all the amenities you are used to at home. Enjoy your own private beach with awesome views of Cape Cod Bay and the salt marsh. The distance to the water just depends on whether it is high tide or low tide, but the beach is always just out the front door.

Massachusetts is the state where the Pilgrim Fathers landed in the Mayflower in 1620 and it’s where the US War of Independence began in the mid-1770s.
Whereas some US cities can be dated back to the turn of the 20th Century, and the arrival of the local railroad, Boston – which in the late 1600s was the third biggest port in the world after London and Bristol – has a history going back well over 300 years. It’s also the heart of New England, regarded as one of the most beautiful areas of the US. For visitors from the UK, the city has recently become a little more accessible. Norwegian Airlines launched another of its low-cost routes from Gatwick at Easter. Book enough in advance and flights to Logan Airport cost as low as #149 each way.

The Freedom Trail is a 2.5km walking route in downtown Boston that includes 16 historical points of interest. It takes in the Old State House, the Granary Burial Ground (which although small, actually contains well over 5,000 bodies!), and the sites of the Boston Massacre and Boston Tea Party.

We invite you to relax in our gracious setting and enjoy the hospitality of a true New England Country Our house was originally built by Captain Peter Ingersoll in 1766 on the site of an older house built in 1720s by his father Moses Ingersoll, and was known as the Troy Tavern and Inn. The colonists undoubtedly met right in our living room, planning their participation in the siege of the British troops in Boston. During the American Revolution, our house served as a fort and colonial armory.
In 1790 the house was bought by David Wainwright, a statesman and state representative. The house became known as Wainwright Hall, and later became home to his daughter Electra and son-in-law Ebenezer Pope. One of their sons, Franklin Pope, remodeled and added our porches.
Franklin Pope was an engineer, inventor, and patent attorney who did extensive work on the telegraph and electrical systems in Great Barrington, assisted by his brothers Ralph and Henry Pope. Franklin Pope with Thomas Edison was co-inventors of the ticker tape. Wainwright Hall, as it was known at the turn of the century, was a tourist destination featuring the best amenities of its day.
Successive owners have added to the charm and the diversity of the Wainwright Inn B&B, keeping it a well maintained Great Barrington Landmark. Come see the Wainwright Inn as it once again serves the traveling public.
