Rockmere Lodge is the only bed and breakfast in Ogunquit, Maine overlooking the Marginal Way. It is by the little lighthouse and has panoramic ocean views! A turn of the century shingle style cottage built in 1898 by the Stearns family of the Stearns and Foster Mattress Company from Cincinnati, Rockmere Lodge sits on a slight knoll with commanding views of the Atlantic, midway along the Marginal Way by the little light house, a mile-long beautiful ocean-side footpath from Ogunquit Village to Perkins Cove, but in a quiet highly residential area. You can see the ocean and hear the surf crashing against the rocks from almost every room in Rockmere Lodge.

Welcome to our weekly series on the blog and our Facebook travel groups – City Sundays. Each week we’ll select a different LGBT friendly city to talk about, and we’ll invite our innkeeper and travel agent/tour operator friends to come talk with us about it as well.
Ogunquit, is a very LGBT friendly city along the Southern coast of Maine. Filled with gay friendly accommodations, restaurants and bars, it’s an easy getaway from all of New England.
