During a trip to Phuket earlier this year, I had an opportunity to meet three chefs who are creating culinary magic in one of Thailand’s most well known resort destinations. Each of these individuals possesses a passion for food and a desire to give their guests astounding meals that they will be talking about for years to come.

Whether it’s sourcing local, organic produce, highlighting unique Thai flavors and spices, or using only sustainable meat and fish, these chefs love what they do, and they can’t wait to share it with you. Luckily for us, each of them has also provided a recipe for one of their signature dishes that you can cook up in your own kitchen to share with family and friends. Bon Appetite!

Sarawut Chingchai, Executive Chef at the Vijitt Resort (www.vijittresort.com) provides his guests with an incredible array of dining choices, and he does so with a dedication and relaxed demeanor that is the mark of someone who loves what they do. When we first met, I was there to interview him and I brought a photographer along with me. Even though it was during the busy dinner time at the resort, he took the time to talk to us about his career, the signature dished he cooks up at the resort, and how happy he is to be back in Phuket after many years working in the Middle East.
