Toronto WorldPride Chooses Vancouver Artist’s Work

Toronto WorldPride artistVancouver’s Pablo Munoz is one of six Canadians whose work will be shown at the Art Gallery of Ontario during a special exhibition marking WorldPride 2014 in Toronto.

The Youth Solidarity Exhibition opens June 22 and continues to Nov. 15. The exhibition is meant to focus attention on two-spirited, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer youths across the country.

Munoz and the other five artists will all receive $1,000 and travel to Toronto for the opening. Munoz said it was an honour to have his work recognized. “I have a lot of things to say and I take every opportunity to voice what I have to say,” he said in a phone interview Friday.
