Queenstown’s Gay Ski Week to Be Bigger Than Ever

Published Date Author: , March 30th, 2014

Gay Ski WeekHot on the heels of Queenstown becoming a gay wedding hotspot, the organisers of the resort’s Gay Ski Week have organised international travel prizes bound to grow the event’s global profile. Hundreds of gay men and women converge on Queenstown for the annual event, this year being held from August 30 to September 6, and organisers Sally and Mandy Whitewoods have used the growth of the event to leverage international coverage through some of the world’s largest gay-focused magazines.

“Every year we attract more and more people from a cross-section of countries and we’re stoked to be able to grow the event’s profile and reach even further,” Sally Whitewoods said.

“It’s fantastic we can offer people in the US and Australia the chance to experience DNA Gay Ski Week QT first hand. The prizes are just phenomenal. We’re looking forward to generating some interest and raising the profile of Queenstown across the globe.”
