The Brewster Inn is on the National Register of Historic Places and is a former Maine Governer and Government Senators family home. If you ever saw the the 3 x”Golden Globe” and 5 x Oscar award winning film “The Aviator” starrring Leonardo De Caprio as Howard Hughes then you will of seen Alan Alda from MASH playing the Senator that was in charge of the Government task force that tried to bring Howard Hughes down. In that film Alan Alda played Senator and also Governor Owen Brewster and its his home we have so its pretty historic.

Our home was shown on TV across the USA on HGTV in June 2008 on “If Walls Could Talk” and has been replayed numerous times since then.
