Tel Aviv Emerging as a Gay Travel Hot Spot

Published Date Author: , September 12th, 2012

With a growing popularity and excellent reviews, gay Tel Aviv is becoming one of the most travelled cities and offers many tourist attractions, along side to a bubbly nightlife scene and some great bars, cafes and restaurants, not to mention the beautiful, long seashore, which stretches from the south (Jaffa) to the north of the city. This growth has many great implications on gay Tel Aviv, such as a higher municipal budget for special events (including the gay pride parade), cleaner streets, safer vibe and many new, interesting upcoming projects. The only down side is the fact that the city can get packed during the hot seasons, and that the prices are getting higher as well, meaning that a vacation in gay Tel Aviv is not as cheap as it used to be. But, don’t worry; we’re here to tell you how can have it all!

For a pleasant stay at a great location, just in middle of town, you must sleep at the Marina hotel. It is one the charming hotels in Tel Aviv, with a very gay friendly atmosphere. The highlight of sleeping at this hotel, besides its location (just between Gordon beach and Hilton beach on the west side and within walking distance to the city’s center on the east side), is that it’s got his own private boutique little swimming pool, on the hotel’s roof top, from which you can overlook the entire city, while drinking a cold ice beer or wine, bought at the bar just across.

After you have settled at your hotel in Tel Aviv, you are ready to discover gay Tel Aviv city. There are plenty of options, and since the city’s not that big, you can literally walk it by foot, from north to south. If you’re getting tired you can always stop a taxi, no need to order them in advance during day time, but sometimes at night it’s better to do so. You can also rent a bike in one of the many bike rental stores, or just use the municipality’s new project, Tel-O-Fun, and rent a bike from the rental stalls, spread all over town.
