Sorrento and The Amalfi Coast

Our dear friend, Bella (Dolly Goolsby) is on the go again, this time in Italy. She has graciously allowed us to republish her travel blogs. Enjoy!
I am sitting on the terrace of our hotel, trying to compose this blog post. I don’t know how I can convey the sheer beauty of this area, but I will try.
We arrived here about 5:00 p.m. on Monday, with just a few little glitches. Once we left Naples, the Autostrada finished, so for the rest of the trip, about 2 hours, we meandered in and out of little villages. The GPS worked great.
But by the time we got here, and parked the Mercedes (which is no easy feat in itself, as most of the parking spots are made for much smaller cars), Frank was ready for a martini. We freshened up a bit, took a bus into town, then walked down to the Marina Grande, for dinner at my favorite restaurant, Delfino. It is the last restaurant at the marina, and their deck sits out over the water. As it was a very mild, pleasant evening, we got a table on the deck.
