New York – Win a Trip to Sweden With a Song

Published Date Author: , June 27th, 2012

Sweden SweepstakesThe G train in New York City (the only train that doesn’t touch the island of Manhattan) has been bullied for years by riders. The poor little guy is not only one of the smallest (length wise he hardly fits on the platform!), it is also the one that has given riders some seriously grouchy weekend mornings–if you’ve ever tried to take the green G home from a party, you’ll come to learn and live the definition of cruel and unusual punishment.

So, the ladies and gentlemen over at Brooklyn Brewery are hoping that they can give the little train that …actually does exist, a much-needed PR boost. Brooklyn Brewery wants to give lucky songwriters/musicians a chance to create their own original song about the forgotten train line and reward the best song.

After the song is uploaded on to YouTube it will be voted on. The artist with the most votes will be flown to Sweden from New York City and be put up at Story Hotel from Aug 30-Sep 2 and will also receive tickets to Debaser and Brooklyn Brewery’s first ever all Brooklyn-based artist music festival in Sweden!
