Pensacola Beach, The Perfect Year-Round Gay Travel Destination

Each year thousands of revelers flock to Northwest Florida for the biggest LGBT Memorial Day in the South. The rest of the year, Pensacola Beach is an ideal gay vacation destination for travelers looking to get away from it all.

With 47 miles of sugar white sand stretching from the mouth of Pensacola Bay to Fort Walton, much of it sparsely populated, the best thing to do in Pensacola Beach is almost nothing. Natural beauty is a difficult distraction to overcome in this low key destination.

Most of Santa Rosa Island, on which PensacolaBeach is located, is included in the Gulf Islands National Seashore. This reserve stretches from Mississippi to Florida and includes 150 miles of undeveloped federally protected sugar white sand beaches and rolling dunes.
