UK: Anti Gay Hotel Owners to Appeal Ruling Against Them

The Christian owners of a Cornwall hotel are appealing the judgement which ordered them to pay costs to a gay couple who they refused a double room.

The Christian Institute is reported to be funding the appeal of Peter and Hazelmary Bull of the Chymorvah Hotel, who said they did not believe unmarried couples should share a room.

Martyn Hall and his civil partner Steven Preddy, from Bristol, said it was “direct discrimination” and the Bulls were ordered to pay them #1,800 each at Bristol County Court earlier this month.
