EXPANDED LISTING TERMS
1. Scope of Work: Mongoose On the Loose Web Design (MOTL) will create a one-page website containing the following elements (use this as your checklist when preparing to send your materials):
- Up to 5 graphics. Additional graphics can be added for $30 each per year. MOTL takes no responsibility for materials lost or damaged in transit. If mailing photos to us, please include a SASE for submitted photos you’d like returned.
- Client’s Property/site description (up to 500 words). Additional space available at $5.00 per 100 words. We can pull this text from an existing website; if not available, please provide this text via email.
* Submission to a number of search engines (includes keywords, site description and title for indexing).
Expanded Listings are not transferrable and non-refundable.
Please send all materials to us via email (put your property name and "expanded listing" in the header of each email) and/or via mail (scanned graphics & electronic text can be sent on a zip disk or cd) to PO Box 4666, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762.
2. Hosting: MOTL will host your Expanded Listing on the Purple Roofs site free for the first 12 months. Hosting after the first 12 months is available at the current yearly rate.
3. Timeframe: Turnaround time will generally be within 21 business days from the date the payment and all materials (or a Quick copy request - to pull materials from your existing website) are received by MOTL. If the turnaround time will be longer for any reason, you will be notified. If all materials (pictures and text) for your new Expanded Listing are not available from your existing website or are not provided to us within the initial 21 business days from the date of the order, we will post the Expanded Listing as-is, using watever materials we have at the time, and will start your listing period at that time. Materials provided after this date will be added as appropriate, but your listing start and end date will remain the same.
4. Copyrights: The client hereby unconditionally guarantees that all text, graphics, photos, trademarks, designs and any other materials provided to MOTL are either owned by the client, or used by permission of the owners of said materials. The client agrees to hold harmless, protect and defend MOTL from any claim or lawsuit arising from the use of these materials. Similarly, MOTL warrants that all graphics and text supplied by MOTL for use in the construction of the site are either owned by MOTL or used with permission.
5. Page Content: MOTL is not responsible for any content included on the Expanded Listing page from the client's original website or provided materials. Erroneously displayed information will generally be corrected within 3 business days of notification.
6. Web Site Copyright: Copyright to all pages in this site, including custom graphics, text and design layout, is held by MOTL.
7. Site Submission: Upon completion of your Expanded Listing, MOTL will begin to submit the site to the search engines as listed in section 1 above. MOTL will submit the new Expanded Listing to search engines in the manner requested on the original order. Any changes resulting from a later modification of this original request (including requests to remove the listing from any of the originally authorized search engines or directories) are the sole responsibility of the accommodations/travel agency/tour operator owner.
8. Subscription Period: The 1 year subscription starts on the day the listing is completed by MOTL. However, if materials are not available within 14 calendar days, MOTL will start the one year subscription period on the 15th day, regardless of whether or not the listing has been completed.
9. Payment: MOTL will assess a $25.00 charge for any checks that are not cleared through your bank. In addition, the client will be responsible for any bank fees imposed on MOTL’s bank account as a result of the client’s uncleared check.
10. Changes: Any changes requested by the client after the completion of the initial work and posting of the Expanded Listing will be treated as follows:
a) Text: Up to 1/2 hour is provided at no extra charge each year. For changes beyond this time-frame, see b).
b) All other text changes: Current hourly rate, billed in 1/4 hour increments.
c) Pictures: $20 per picture change.
d) Changes necessary to correct any/all client error(s) will be billed to the client at the current hourly rate, in 1/4 hour increments.
11. Cancellation/Expiration of Listing: Should your Expanded Listing become inactive or be cancelled at any point, MOTL reserves the right to redirect your Expanded Listing traffic to the PurpleRoofs.com website to continue to capture the web traffic created by MOTL's submission activities. Your property information will be removed from the page (although the file name itself will remain unchanged).
12. Special Offers are available to new upgrades only. Returning upgrades will be prorated.
By submitting this order, I warrant that I have the authority to execute this contract on behalf of myself and/or my company, and acknowledge that I have read and understand this contract and have received a copy.
